Community guidelines

Compete hard. Keep RankUp useful.

The conduct standards that protect fair competition, pseudonymous participation, privacy, and a productive board-preparation community.

RankUp has no open chat at launch. Profile, friend, leaderboard, and competitive behavior are still subject to these guidelines.

Use a pseudonymous identity responsibly

Choose a handle that does not impersonate another person, disclose sensitive information, or imply official Army, Department of Defense, command, or moderator authority.

Treat other members with respect

Harassment, hate, threats, targeted abuse, sexual misconduct, and attempts to expose private information are not allowed. Competitive intensity never excuses harmful conduct.

Keep competition fair

Do not automate play, coordinate answers, manipulate matches or ratings, exploit defects, share unauthorized access, or interfere with another member's session.

Protect sensitive information

Do not post or submit classified, controlled operational, medical, legal, personnel, DoD ID, Social Security number, credential, or other sensitive information.

Use safety and moderation controls

Remove, block, and report users from the app. Moderation actions are logged and may restrict profile or competitive access. Serious or repeated violations may result in account action.

Prepare with purpose

Need to report a safety concern?

Use in-app controls when available or send the minimum necessary details to support.
